HOH #7 - The Balance Beam

Houseguests, THE POWER IS UP FOR GRABS.

In tribute to the Olympics, which just ended a few days ago, the eleven of you competing are on the Big Brother Balance Beam. This is a test of endurance and concentration. You will stand upon the Big Brother Balance Beam for as long as you can. You can not touch the beam with your hands, sit down, or kneel down. One foot must be on the beam at all times. If you fall off, kneel, sit, or touch the beam - you are eliminated.

This challenge will be done in your Diary Rooms on your own time. To start the challenge, make a thread in your DR called "HOH #7". To begin the challenge, type *balances*. You must then time yourself. Every 5 minutes, you must post *balances*. This will be going by BOARD TIME, so make sure you are paying close attention when you post. If you post too late or too early, you will fall off the beam. There are no start overs, so if you start and make a mistake early, you're out of luck. Go as long as you possibly can. When you lose, stop posting. Do not try to keep posting to cover up a mistake, because I will find out.

When you make a mistake or feel that you are finished, post "Done" in your thread and leave it until I see it.

Once everyone has gone, I will determine who stayed on their beam the longest. The person who does will be the new Head of Household.

Within the first few minutes, Roddy trips and falls. Sarah is turns her head around to look and accidentally slips too.

At the 5 minute mark, Howie starts squatting his knees a bit and accidently falls onto them. The kneel = elimination. Howie is out.

5 minutes, everyone looking good. Nobody is distracted by Howie leaving.

10 minutes go by and rain starts falling onto the houseguests to make it more slick. Angie, shocked by the surprise rain, accidently falls forward.

At the fifteen minute mark, people are still trying to adjust to the rain. Richard has his arms extended out completely. Will is squatting a bit. Nakomis looks cold.

20 minutes and James extends his leg, which may be falling asleep. Nakomis tries to do the same, but slips on her standing leg, falling off the beam.

April, Angie, James, Sheila, Richard, Keesha, and Will still remain.

[Big Brother]

Keesha and Richard both look like statues at the 20 minute mark. Sheila also looks strong. Will wobbles a bit, but keeps himself up.

James extends his leg out again, this time his other leg. Rain starts pouring down harder. April's legs are hurting and she tries to move, but the slightest move makes her slip. Her legs start to slide away from her and she has no choice but to jump before she gets hurt.

A few moments later, Will is trying to get his hood on, but doing so makes him fall forward. He is able to keep himself on, but uses his hands to do so which eliminates him.

James, Sheila, Richard, and Keesha still remain.
