Housecalls - Episode Five
Hosts - Mike Goldman, Nick Starcevic
Guest Host - Diane Henry
Mike Goldman: Welcome to Housecalls and it's that time again! We're here with the latest evictee - Diane - and my usual co-host Nick. Welcome to the show.
Nick Starcevic: Hey!
Diane Henry: Hey everyone
Mike: Diane, just like your fellow evictees Mike and Alex, you're an early one. Do you think there was any flaws in your gameplay that lead to your demise that you wish you could have changed?
Diane: I don't really think I made any really stupid moves in the game. I guess aligning with Erika in the beginning made me a target of some sort. And in the end, I trusted the house when I really shouldn't have.
Nick: Do you think that being away for a while (I know you were on vacation) hurt you in the game?
Diane: Definitely. I don't think I'd be sitting here right now had I not been away. I had no chance to plead my case or make nice with anyone until the day before it was time to vote, nor did I have a chance to compete in veto. Bad week to be gone, but what can ya do?
Mike: It was pretty noticeable that compared to the other houseguests, you were pretty quiet. But we saw in your hand grenade speech that you're pretty good with words and seem to know what you're talking about, which blew a lot of people away. Was it strategy to just lay low before showing this different side of you later in the game?
Diane: I came into the game with the strategy of aligning with a few people who I trusted. I did that, and was nice and reasonable to everyone else who I talked to. My goal wasn't to come screaming out of the gates and piss people off because I know that just would get me sent out quick. I was fairly quiet in the game, I didn't post a whole lot on the board and since I don't use AIM primarily, I was always forgetting to turn it on and talk to people.
Nick: I noticed that you, Chelsia and James had a an alliance in the house. How do you think that they are going to do with you gone?
Diane: I think they'll do amazing, honestly. They're both friends with the majority of the house and they don't seem to have huge targets on their backs. Of course I wish I was there with them, but I hope they do well
Mike: Let's take our first call. We got Coz from NJ
Coz: Who is controlling the game so far?
Diane: I think Will has a huge sway of what's going on the game. At first, he made himself a huge target with all of his explanations for everything that he did. But since then he has quieted down. Like I said in my grenade ceremony, he's a great sweet talker. He totally made me believe that I was safe at the end when I wasn't. But I do believe that if Will had voted to keep me, half the people who voted to evict me would have also voted to keep me.
Mike: Do you think his role in the house will last or will it come back back on him at some point?
Diane: Hmm, that's a toughy. I think eventually, it'll bite him, but I think he's sitting pretty for the time being.
Mike: Next question is from Billy Bo from "Chilltown", NJ
Billy Bo: Who do you think is the 1 person responsible for your eviction.....
Diane: Hey Billy Well, technically Keesha since she nominated me. As for voters, I think Will because like I said, I think half the house would have voted whichever way he did.
Nick: If you had stayed, who would you have gone after?
Diane: well, probably Erika, because I promised I would and everybody wants her gone. My mind is changed now but the circumstances would have been totally different had I stayed.
Mike: Our next caller is Barbareesha from OK
Barbareesha: What is your opinion of Howie?
Diane: Hey Barbareesha. Howie's fine. I talked to him for like five minutes one day and he was nice. And I'm fairly certain he campaigned and voted for me to stay. So I appreciated him for that.
Mike: Next caller...
Evel Dick from ReadEvelDicksJournalAbout Cougars.com: Do you know what RED JAC means, and do you think any of them have a shot at winning this game?
Diane: Yes I do know what it means. I didn't actually figure out what it meant until I saw Will's profile picture, which is funny since I was a part of it I guess.
Mike: Well Diane, in the event that you would be evicted, your houseguests taped some goodbye messages for you. Would you like to watch?
Diane: Haha oh of course
"Sorry to see you go hun, I have heard some very nice things about you. I wish we had gotten to meet each other, and I apologize for my lack of effort in doing so. Good luck in future games." - April
Diane: Yeah we never talked...but that was nice
"I'm sorry to see you go. I think you know the rest." - Chelsia
Diane: Oh, Chels
"Bye." - Daniele
Diane: She surely has a way with words
"I haven't got to talk to you much, but when I did-you seemed like a very nice girl! I wish that you were here to compete in the veto competition, but unfortunately you weren't! I'll be sad to see you go " - Erika
[ Diane makes a hug gesture ]
"I really dont know what to say i never really got to know you,and i think that is why you got evicted, becuase no one really knew you" - Howie
"Well... this BLOWS. you should not be reading this under any circumstances. First Chelsia is nominated and then you? Chelsia survived it, but did you? I hope so!
Anyways, I'm totally gonna miss you in the game. People might think you're inactive and stuff like that, but chelsia and i know different. you will be missed!!! hugs and kisses xoxo." - James
Diane: Love ya, bud
"Hi diane... -tumble weed- umm yeah lol sorry to see you go i suppose... bye! " - Jun
Diane: Jun's not a big fan I take it? Oh well she never made an effort to talk to me either.
"Hey Diane, you definately were on vacation at the wrong time, I never really got to know you and thats why your out, sorry, it was too risky to keep you in =(" - Keesha
Diane: Once again no hard feelings for Keesh. But I really wasn't after the girl.
"Diane i choose to evict u because i don't know u we have never talked u did not even try to get my vote so I'm not going to give it to you.. peace" - Nakomis
Diane:[/color] lol, because I was gone
"I tried to keep you, i really did but i needed to keep somone who promised to keep me safe you didnt promise me anything and i dont know if i can trust you but you are a nice girl and i'll miss you" - Sheila
Diane: She switched at the last minute, from what I hear.
"I think the missing out on the first part of the game hurt you a lot, but I am glad I got a chance to talk to you. You seem really nice and it sucks that you didn't get the opportunity to prove that you were active, take care! " - Will
Diane: I still love ya, Will.
Mike: Any last comments you want to make on those messages?
Diane: Umm, good luck to them all? Well most of them.
Mike: Alright Nick, you want to sign us off with your Top 5 Best Players?
Nick: Okay.....
5 - Will, like we established before, he is in charge of that house right now. People listen to what he has to say, and follow whatever he tells him. I think it may all explode on him in the future, but for right now... he's playing great.
4 - Sarah - I swear, she is going to win this game again. She is playing under the radar, but not TOO under the radar, where she becomes a target, because nobody knows where she's at.
3? - I do think Sheila was playing a good game up until recentely. Winning HOH was horrible for her. She had a good thing going. She was playing differently than she had the past few seasons. I hope she doesn't screw up this week and have yet ANOTHER week five eviction, lol.
2.....?
1..............?
Mike: Uh
Nick: Honestly... That's all I have. Nobody else really pops up for me at the moment. lol
Diane: Haha
Mike: Ooookay. Well that concludes Nick's Top THREE for this week. Diane, thanks for joining us
Diane: Of course Thanks for having me
Nick: Haha, I swear... next week my list will be better.
Diane: Ha
Mike: And as always, you can catch us next week when we sit down with the next evictee. But next time...hopefully...we'll be able to catch James with his dreaded Top 5 Worst Players. Until then, ta ta!
